ROAD SAFETY
Key teaching points
1) Provide children with a strategy for safe
road use.
2) Illustrate the importance of being able to judge the speed
of vehicles, and understand the amount of stopping distance
required.
3) Provide key safety points for cycling i.e. helmets, high
visibility clothing, regular bicycle checks etc.
