Comments from visitors:-

  •  Thank you for a wonderful afternoon, we all learnt so much in such a short period of time. I was amazed at how much the children remembered when we reviewed our trip two days later. They agreed unanimously that it was the best trip ever because it was practical and they now know how to deal with potentially dangerous situations. Both staff and volunteers were so informative and handled the children with such care and thoughtfulness. It was an experience the children will retain for a long time to come.

Bishop Parker Catholic School, January 2011.

  • Once again, I am extremely impressed with this unique resource and the expertise of the guides. It is essential for teaching children life saving principles and is a highlight each year. Ex-pupils who return to visit us always mention Hazard Alley as their most memorable school trip.

St Paul's Church of England Combined School, March 2011.

  • A fabulous afternoon, welcoming, well organised, interesting and informative, polite, friendly staff and very professional!

St. Luke's CEVA Primary, June 2011.

  •  A great experience for the children, brilliant learning tool, great staff!

Holne Chase, October 2011.

I am just writing to you to inform you that recently I went to an old school reunion, and inevitably old school trips were a topic of conversation. Instantly, Hazard Alley came up and we spent a good hour talking about it. We went a few times in our time at school, (High Wycombe Church Of England), and thoroughly looked forward to it and enjoyed it very much every time we went. We worked it out that it has been at least 16 years since we last went, but we all remember it vividly. My lasting memory is of the train safety set, it was very effective. All of us at some point had spoken to others about your establishment and had sung it's praises greatly.

I just wanted to let you know how much of a positive influence you had on the young me, and I still think about your place from time to time. I really hope you can continue doing so for years to come, as it is an incredibly worthwhile cause.
Thanks again,

David Amor

To all,
This is just a quick note to say thank you very much to all the staff for making our visit
to Hazard Alley so enjoyable and informative.
The pupils absolutely loved their afternoon and were talking about it non stop on the way
home and the following week at school.

Thanks again

The Safety Centre opened in 1994 as a partnership-based community safety project involving Thames Valley Police, Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service, health authorities, local government, other statutory organisations and the private sector. The centre is not centrally funded and as such relies heavily on donations and sponsorship.
